In accordance with M.G.L. c. 30A, §§ 18-20 and 940 C.M.R. 29.03, as amended by § 4 of Chapter 107 of the Acts of 2022 and § 40 of Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2023, notice is hereby given of an open meeting of the MBTA Advisory Board or one of its committees to be held remotely on the above-captioned date.

1. Call to order, Pledge of Allegiance, and moment of silence, Hon. Thomas P. Koch (Quincy), Chair
2. Introductions, committee charge, etc. – Brian Kane (Ex. Director)
3. 2022 Audit: Presentation of the audited financial statements for the two years ended 12/31/2021 and 12/31/2022. Discussion of any auditor’s required communications including Management Letters (if any). Colette Aufranc (Wellesley), Treasurer and Chair, Budget & Audit Committee
4. Future Audits: Consideration of the audit for the period 12/31/2022 – 12/31/2023, and action to authorize such an audit and approve any related fees. C. Aufranc
5. 2024 Internal Budget: Discussion and action on a recommendation from the Budget & Audit Committee to approve an internal operating budget for the MBTA Advisory Board’s operations for the period 01/01/2024 – 12/31/2024. Aufranc
6. Executive Director Employment: Discussion and action to authorize the Chair, on behalf of the MBTA Advisory Board, to negotiate and enter into an employment agreement with Brian Kane to serve as Executive Director of the MBTA Advisory Board for a period not to exceed 36 months beginning March 1, 2024 and ending February 28, 2027.
7. Executive Director’s Report: Updates on ongoing MBTA Advisory Board efforts.
